Berkshire

Part of Berkshire was lost to Oxfordshire due to boundary changes in 1974 and what remains is virtually a corridor along the M4 motorway, Great Western Railway and River Thames. The main town is Reading, but the county's historical centre is Windsor, its castle the residence of our Queen.
