Cornwall

A county where you are no more than a few miles from the sea and being a peninsula Cornwall is separated from the rest of England by the River Tamar. Today it is a holiday destination, but mining for tin and other ores was a major industry, now typified by a landscape proliferated by the ruins of many buildings.
