Hertfordshire

Home county north of London with gentle rolling hills culminating in the Chilterns to the north. Southern part of the county is heavily populated with several large towns, but St. Albans has a history stretching back to the Romans who established their own city of Verulamium. Many major roads including the M1 and M25 crisscross its landscape.
