Isle of Anglesey

The Isle of Anglesey is an offshore island connecting the mainland with the port of Holyhead for sailings to Ireland. It has both road and rail connections the former originally via Telford's Menai Bridge and much later the Britannia Bridge where the road was constructed over the railway. Anglesey is noted for its natural beauty, particularly sandy beaches.
