Isle of Wight

A few miles off the south coast the Isle of Wight is a step back in time; a place loved by Queen Victoria who lived at Osborne House. For its size the population is quite large, but most reside on the eastern side around Ryde and Newport. Sandown and Shanklin are the holiday destinations, but in the west the coastal scenery is at its most impressive.
