Powys

Powys is an amalgam of several shire counties in central Wales that include Montgomery, Radnor and Brecknock. It is sparsely populated, much of the land given over to farming with the Brecon Beacons National Park occupying its southern area. The main towns are Welshpool, Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Brecon.
