Somerset is in the West Country situated between Devon and Wiltshire with Dorset to the south. It has two magnificent cathedrals; Wells and Bath, though the latter is an abbey in the same diocese. The western arm of the county covers part of Exmoor, the Quantock Hills and a coast with high cliffs facing the Bristol Channel; the east is much flatter.
